For the first time, the ICRC has explored the views of 16,000 millennials – those aged 20–35 – on conflict and the rules of war. The findings offer hope for the future as well as plenty of concern. Millennials from 16 countries, namely Afghanistan, Colombia, France, Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Russia, South Africa, Syria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Ukraine and the United States participated in the survey.
