Palestine and the International Criminal Court : back to a judicial saga

This article studies the action of Palestine before the International Criminal Court (ICC), seen as a real challenge to the consolidation of the credibility of the international criminal justice as well as a decisive turning point for the evolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, for the recognition of Palestine as a State on the international scene and, more generally, for peace in the Middle East. Looking at the effects of the different approaches initiated by Palestine, the author argues that they reproduce the hesitations of a divided Government, dealing with a complex and tense reality on the ground, in which the exacerbation of the positions makes any academic analysis an extremely delicate matter.
