This closing address focuses on six main themes: the proper definition of a NIAC; the thresholds of armed conflicts; the application of the jus in hello in a NIAC; the various types of recognition relevant to a NIAC; intervention by a foreign country in a NIAC; and the interaction between NIACs and IACs.
